Located at the Stove Factory Gallery near Sullivan Square, this is one of the resident artists in the building. She created Sparkling Bean, a cow sculpture for Cow Parade, a public art event sponsored by local businesses and transformed into art works. Her cow was decorated with the skylines of Boston/Charlestown and doused in sparkles "like a Faberge egg".

The Artists Group of Charlestown occupies gallery and studio space in the Stove Factory Building. Founded in 1997 and residing in a funky little building, the Group is the epicenter of the art scene in the community. Why not bring out your inner artist - stop by for watercolor class on Wednesdays or life drawing on Mondays. Check their website for classes, auctions, fund raisers, art shows and open studios. Every spring/summer they hold an outdoor festival in City Square. A lot of their events are very reasonably priced or free, because the purpose of this nonprofit is to make art affordable to anyone.
